I would still take the train. The metro has four underground lines and trains run from 6am to midnight. Its on the inside of the circuit, so a little further from most gates. When we reached Monza we had a one hour and 45 minute walk to our seats in grandstand 8 due to the amount of people, bottlenecks, security checks, bag searches, ticket scanning and general disorganization.
