Robert Lewis Palmer, Sr age 73, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Friday, January 24, 2020 at Tranquility at Cobb Hospital in Austell, GA. Mr. Palmer was born on July 12, 1946 in Atlanta, Georgia. Palmer was born in 1949 in Batley, Yorkshire. While the album failed to produce any hit singles in the US, he did find success in the UK with the release of three modest hit singles "Girl U Want", "Know by Now," and "You Blow Me Away".[10]. Robert Palmer Obituary It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Palmer of O'Fallon, Missouri, born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on August 3, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Mr. Palmer died on May 4, 2020 at the North Alabama Medical Center after a brief illness. The following year, his jazz-infused album Ridin High was a tribute to the Tin Pan Alley era. Bobby was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Mercer American Legion Post 159, where he was a former manager, and Mercer V.F.W.
